Riverside Reptiles Education Center is located at 132 South Road, Enfield, Connecticut (06082) — just minutes from I-91 and a short drive from Hartford, CT and Springfield, MA. Our convenient location makes it easy for families, school groups, and travelers to visit Connecticut’s only reptile and amphibian zoo.
Whether you’re planning a weekend outing, a hands-on field trip, or a kids’ birthday party with animals, RREC is an exciting destination for all ages.
Directions
From Hartford, CT:
Take I-91 North to Exit 47E toward South Road. Continue straight for approximately 2 miles, and you’ll find Riverside Reptiles Education Center on the left.
From Springfield, MA:
Take I-91 South to Exit 47E toward South Road. Follow signs to South Road, and our entrance will be on the left.
From Eastern Connecticut:
Follow Route 190 or Route 220 west toward Enfield. Turn onto South Road and continue until you see our entrance sign and parking area.
Parking & Accessibility
We offer free on-site parking for all visitors, including designated handicap-accessible spaces near the main entrance. Our facility and exhibits are wheelchair and stroller friendly both indoors and outdoors.
